HFTP London Member Event: Great Educational Evening

HFTP was host to nearly 30 hospitality professionals for a wonderful evening of education and networking last night, March 12, at the Rosewood Hotel in London. Sponsored by Keystep Solutions, the evening was an opportunity for area members and potential members to gather for some key educational presentations and discussions. 

Beginning at 6:30, the group was welcomed by Remus Palimaru, the hotel manager at the Rosewood London. The crowd was then given a brief overview of HFTP by Carl Weldon, HFTP COO, Europe.

Following the welcomes, Ivana Neskovic, senior manager, regional accounts at STR Global spoke on "2017 Year-end Hotel Trends in Europe and the United Kingdom." She was followed by Andrew Evans, CEO for Keystep Solutions, who presented on the topic, "The Age of RFID and AI." Closing the presentations was a discussion on the hot topic, the EU's GDPR. Jose Medio, CIPP/us, CIPP/E, managing director at Privalis Group offered the latest on hospitality GDPR and data mapping challenges, plus details on the work of the HFTP GDPR/DPO Task Force.
