Nearly 40 hospitality professionals in the Las Vegas area gathered on February 1, 2018 at the Tommy Bahamas Restaurant for a social event and presentation about cyber investigations. The HFTP Las Vegas Chapter event was open to all active members and industry guests. Guest speaker Michael Hill, FBI computer scientist, is an experienced and accomplished professional in cybersecurity, cyber investigations and information technology.
Hill's career spans nearly 30 years in federal law enforcement with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and he is currently a computer scientist assigned to the Las Vegas division. Hill has experience in implementing cyber security policies and procedures, risk management assessments, threat assessments and system administration. He also has extensive experience in information technology breaches, computer and network intrusion and cyber-attack incident response.
