An introduction to HFTP and its recent activities in Asia Pacific Region

Dr. Agnes DeFranco serves as Associate Professor of the Conrad N. Hilton College. Dr. DeFranco joined the College in 1988 and has taught courses specializing in hospitality accounting, finance and purchasing. She was appointed in August 1999 to Associate Dean of the College and served in that capacity until she was named Interim Dean in January 2002. She also serves as a Visiting Professor to the University of Angers Tourism program where she teaches hotel investment and analysis. She also serves as the faculty advisor for the Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals, a student organization at the College. She currently serves as President of HFTP. She is also active with the American Hotel & Lodging Association serving on the Certification Commission of the Educational Institute and the Diversity Committee.
